Let us quickly review each item separately before moving toward a series of practical steps to begin eradicating this malady from our lives.

#1. PARENTAL RIGHTS VIOLATION

Who do your children belong to?

On public school premises they belong to the State. You know that. But if you chose not to send them there without first clearing it with the State, will the State come to your house for them?

You bet your freedom it will! Have you heard of compulsory education?

Coercion in this context is child-stealing -- kidnapping, if you will. If the State demand of you, the parent, what does not belong to it, namely your kids, and compels their removal even by force from your side if you don’t comply, isn’t that the totalitarian practice of "might makes right"?

And isn't that why you’re afraid not to send your kids to public school, if you can't afford private school or doubt your ability to homeschool?

Even when put on the spot, the Government must admit that it is not the child’s Creator. As a parent you have every right to train up your children in the way they should go without undue interference from the State.

Your children have the right to be protected from government intrusion into their family. As parents you brought children into this world to feed and clothe, and look after their well-being more than any impersonal bureaucracy.

Ask yourself why you’ve been willing to allow your parental rights to be violated by those who can’t ever love your children the way you’re meant to.

#2. INDIVIDUALITY VIOLATION

The State may not use “any general power to standardize” children. US Supreme Court, 1925

And yet the system is designed to mass produce the same type of child – one shaped by and for the Establishment.

All children are individuals with unique gifts, learning styles and rates of development. What does it take to educate them well?

It takes a craftsman not an assembly line.

#3. MORAL VIOLATION

The State is not neutral. For example, it teaches that it’s wrong to break its rules and disrespect its assertions. But how does it handle your values as it indoctrinates your children in its government schools?

True diversity of tradition, culture, religion and morality is inherent within each family. It’s not the Government’s job to teach and enforce any arbitrary norm.

State neutrality towards all families is impossible. Intolerance is inevitable.

#4. CONSTITUTIONAL VIOLATION

The XIII Amendment forbids “involuntary servitude.”

The State forcefully conscripts children for 13 years to mold them daily through a statist curriculum and pedagogy. It seeks to shape them into a class of docile, servile citizens.

This is a form of child slavery. It is more despicable than racist slavery because it enslaves both the body and mind. It also violates the “inalienable right to liberty” in the U.S. Declaration of Independence, because the child is not free to opt out of statist education without State oversight on the matter.

#5. U.S. FOUNDATIONS VIOLATION

The American system of public education was modeled after the centrist, militaristic Prussian compulsory system of education.

Earlier, however, education in America was centered for 220 years in the home and the local church until the intrusion of this foreign State system.
