How Abolishing Public School Is A Hate Crime

Occasionally we receive comments from site readers. Scott G. from San Francisco, California, caught our eye. He encapsulates so very eloquently everything that is wrong with those who profess to do right by doing what is wrong.

"I have never seen a website loaded with such homophobia, racism, and general ignorance. Thank God dolts like you are a dying minority. You are the reason we need education--to extinguish such ignorance. Thank God we have moved forward by passing federal hate crimes legislation protecting homosexuals and other targeted groups from bigots like yourself. As a teacher in California, I also look forward to celebrating Harvey Milk Day, and promoting tolerance and respect in all my classes--as a way to help counter bigots like those on this site. You and all who support your website should be deeply ashamed. You are a danger to families and especially to children in this country."

Let's begin with the fact that the writer claims to be a California public school teacher.

What provoked his tirade?

...a website loaded with "homophobia, racism, and general ignorance."

Scott is grateful to God that we, a minority by his own admission, are dying off and, in case we don't go extinct quickly enough, he is thankful to this god of his (The State) for the laws it has declared, criminalizing our actions. And what actions are these?

It's public speech that endangers families and especially the children of this country.

Wow.

This public school teacher has surely taught us a lesson today, though not one he wanted us to learn.

Here we've learned of true hate, bigotry, intolerance, for this teacher is fervently moralistic and religious. By merely exposing in our site what he believes in, we've provoked his wrath, and he is ready to throw his god at us to extinguish us and our ignorance.

But what does he contribute? That sodomy is virtuous? That the State must protect it? That government schools are to celebrate, promote and respect it?

This is as much enlightenment as that illustrated by the dwarfs in C.S. Lewis' "The Last Battle":

"Aslan raised his head and shook his mane. Instantly a glorious feast appeared on the Dwarfs' knees...

But…

"They thought they were eating and drinking only the sort of things you might find in a Stable…[V]ery soon every Dwarf began suspecting that every other Dwarf had found something nicer than he had, and they started grabbing and snatching, and went on to quarreling…[W]hen at last they sat down to nurse their black eyes and their bleeding noses, they all said: 'Well, at any rate, there's no Humbug here. We haven't let anyone take us in. The Dwarfs are for the Dwarfs!'

"'You see,' said Aslan. 'They will not let us help them. They have chosen cunning instead of belief. Their prison is only in their own minds, yet they are in that prison; and so afraid of being taken in that they can not be taken out.'"

Federal Government To Tell You How To Raise Your Kids Through Healthcare Policy

The whole socialist mindset is that 'We know how to better raise your families, whether it's education or healthcare or anything.' The socialist mindset that has taken over Washington is 'We can do it and you can't do without us.'

-- Michael Farris, Esq.

Always ask "Who do my children belong to?" whenever you drop them off at public school, and don't fool yourself as they enter those halls into thinking they belong to you there.

And if someone else is claiming them there as theirs for so much time each year, then don't be surprised when they come looking for what belongs not to you at the place the kids bunk for the night. Those who call the kids their own call the shots on how to raise them also.

That's why you will get their instructions to follow or lose the kids.

Gang Rape: A Science Class Field Day At Richmond High

Why are we surprised by Darwinism in practice at the very schools where it is taught?

When a wolf pack of young men mobs an isolated and weakened girl, going wild against her in the thicket, by beating, robbing and gang-raping her in the darkest part of campus, is it not practicing survival of the fittest?

When concentric circles form around this girl, with the inner circle made of rapacious predators, an outer circle of cheering spectators and an outermost circle of indifferent witnesses and potential future victims, are they who watch not giving evidence of who is the top dog in the crowd?

Is this not the law of the jungle?

So back in 1983 this type of "wilding" occurred at bars, as was the case with Cheryl Ann Araujo. Today, almost 30 years later, it's happening in a public school yard with a larger wolf pack and larger concentric circles, but all made up of juveniles.

Man is the only creature preoccupied with setting high moral codes only to break them. Here we have Darwinian believers at their best performance, making their science teachers proud, yet all that society around Richmond High seems fit to do is bewail the immorality.

But let's be moralistic about this then. Where's the greater evil? Is it in judging the students for doing the evil taught to them or is it in having taught evil to the student and then denying it as having been evil?

High School Violence

Don't tell us that public school is neutral when it comes to ethics or religion. It teaches morality, and its morality is evil of the worst kind.

School Attempts Illegal Ousting Of Student President for Human Genocide Exhibit

Free speech? Democratic process? Will of the governed? All these "niceties" disappear inside a public school campus, unless the school administrators approve. Note, for instance, the effort at recalling freely elected, 19 year-old student government president Steve Macias, presiding at the Sacramento City College in California.

"I was in class," [Macias] said. "The administration tried to call my phone a million times. Eventually, I walked out of the classroom and picked up the phone. They said, 'Where are you at?' We need to talk to you now. I said, 'I'm in class.' They said, 'Stay there. We'll come and get you.'"

What was the Administration so upset about that VP of Student Affairs Michael Poindexter and faculty adviser Lee Weathers-Miguel would need to pull Mr. Macias out of class so urgently to address?

It turns out that the Associated Student Government had voted to invite an outside group of speakers to participate in a two-day on-campus event celebrating the U.S. Constitution and freedom of speech. This is something they do every year. This year the student government invited The Genocide Awareness Project.

Macias reports that school administrators Poindexter and Weather-Miguel demanded he order the group and its displays on human genocide off school premises, because he had not invited a pro-abortion group to match them.

"After I refused to tell the group to take it down, [Poindexter and Weather-Miguel] said, 'We're pi--sed off about this. This is unacceptable,'" Macias said. "They said if I had invited people from the other side, this would have been OK. If I would have included Planned Parenthood in this, then it would be perfectly fine. But because I hadn't, they needed to go.

Next, Poindexter leaves, but the faculty adviser stays with Macias:

"[Weathers-Miguel] said he was incredibly mad because I had 'made him look like an a-- in front of the administration,' Macias recalled. 'He also said he wouldn't forget this.'"

What would you expect next after such a verbal lashing by school administrators against a duly elected student body officer? How about an underhanded effort at removing him from office?

"Only one week after the event, Macias said, the school's Queer-Straight Alliance circulated a petition to recall him. They collected the signatures and submitted them to the ASG adviser, he said.

"'The adviser – the same guy who told me I made him look bad in front of the administration – went against the student constitution that said you have to submit these signatures to the student justice board and they have to validate them,' Macias said. 'Then those people give it to another student board called student affairs, and those people set election rules for the board to vote on.'

But he said his faculty adviser bypassed the process.

"He averted all of that, validated it himself and chose the date for a recall on his own,' he said."

Dropping Out Of High School Just As Good As Dropping Out Of College...Perhaps Better!

If your local baker told you that he is raising the price of muffins because the loaves of bread in his oven are baking at a higher temperature at the moment, you would know not to believe his reasons for the price hike, wouldn't you? You would know to question him, right?

"What do you mean that the price of my muffins is going up just because the oven temperature for baguettes is also rising right now?" Two things may vary together. But that doesn't inherently suggest that the one causes the other to vary. Or, in the lingo of statistics, "Correlation does not imply causation."

If you can easily discern this with baked goods, what's so hard about doing it with public school?

So, if you learned that 75% of prison inmates are high school dropouts, would that inherently imply that dropping out of high school causes you to turn into a prison inmate? Did you know that over 75% of children of Southern California Korean immigrant families are college graduates? Does that mean that getting a bachelor's degree causes you to become a Southern California Korean immigrant? Get my point?

Correlation does not imply causation.

So, why is The Choice Bus such a hot deal?

"Half classroom, half prison cell, the bus is a dropout prevention tool of the Mattie C. Stewart Foundation. All morning ninth grade classes boarded the bus for the approximately 20-minute experience.

Once on the bus, students learned about Shelley Stewart, president of the Mattie C. Stewart Foundation, and the obstacles he had to overcome to succeed. They also watched a short video, and learned about a choice that would affect the rest of their lives — the choice of whether or not to stay in school.

The video presented students with various statistics, including how much more money high school graduates make than those who drop out, and the claim that 75 percent of prison inmates are high school dropouts. Actual prison inmates were also featured on the video, sharing their experiences and regrets about dropping out of school."

What if the choice the student wants is not to graduate from high school because the yellow bus is as much a prison cell as the white bus?

What if I told you that a four-year college degree has come to cost too much and proves too little. That it's now a bad deal for the average student, family, employer, professor and taxpayer. Don't believe me? Read this. Then ask yourself, if a college degree is this pointless, how much more a high school diploma?

It's time for a paradigm shift, folks.

Trust In A Safe Public School? How Safe Can Organized Fights On School Grounds Be?

An old proverb warns the young not to make friends with the hot-tempered and to keep away from the furious. Why? Because the young not only learns these ways but snares his very being by them. How?

Like handling sticky chewing gum on a hot day, anger strings out everywhere and everything it touches it fouls up.

The angry man stirs up strife and abounds in law-breaking.

So what can you expect from young men who get organized in clubs to let out their anger on each other? Will they stir up strife in public school? Will they abound in transgressions? What do you think?

Think, dear parent. THINK! This is no longer the public school of your youth. This is the barbarism that decades of godless education has made acceptable for the new generation to practice.

Do you really believe that these club members care about any rules set by a middle aged school administrator?

How long before these strong and angry youths pull out some knives in organized school clubs and test their skills with them before a cheering audience?

If like Romans we called the knife a gladius, we'd be accurate in calling the fighters gladiators. Sell tickets at the school yard, and you have a modern Coliseum.

Nero would be proud.

Your Children Are Not Yours. They're The Public School's To Pervert.

Your children are not your children.
They come through you,
But they are not from you.

And though they are with you,
They belong not to you.
You can house their bodies,
But not their soul.

For their souls dwell in a place of tomorrow,
Which you cannot visit,
You cannot visit,
You cannot visit,
Not even in your dreams.

- Closing song from the National Education Association's propaganda film "It's Elementary: Talking About Gay Issues In School"

Since your children do not belong to you, how about you put them in the system? They will then belong to the system, and the system will pervert them just as it has shown you it is already doing.

Obey God: Pull them out and train them yourself! You can do it. Millions like you have done it for decades. Millions more are doing it now! End public school, starting with your children!

Sour Milk: A Sodomite Hero For Children To Look Up To In Public School

Sodomy in Public School

Will public school teachers tell the children of Christians the following facts about Harvey Milk during California's Harvey Milk Day:

Harvey Milk had an ongoing homosexual relationship at the age of 33 with a 16 year-old named Jack McKinley:

“...sixteen-year-old old McKinley was looking for some kind of father figure...within a few weeks, McKinley moved into Harvey Milk’s Upper West Side apartment...and settled into a middle classdomestic marriage.

"At thirty-three, Milk was launching a new life, though he could hardly have imagined the unlikely direction toward with his new lover would pull him.” (Source: Randy Shilts, The Mayor of Castro Street, pp. 30-31)

This sexual predator's story involving the 16 year-old doesn't end there:

"...the phone rang. As soon as Harvey heard the voice, he rolled his eyes impatiently at Jim. 'It's Jack McKinley,' he said. He paused and listened further. 'He says he's going to kill himself.'...'Tell him not to make a mess,' Harvey deadpanned. Jack hung up." (p. 126)

Sordid but unusual, you think?

"Harvey confided one night that at twenty-four, Doug was the oldest man Harvey had ever started an affair with."(Source: Randy Shilts, The Mayor of Castro Street, p. 237)

"Harvey always had a penchant for young waifs with substance abuse problems." (p. 180)

"It would be to boyish-looking men in their late teens and early 20's that Milk would be attracted for the rest of his life." (p. 24)

Rather than do damage control, why don't you just do your job and train up the child in the way he should go...unless your desire is for him to follow in Harvey Milk's steps or perhaps in those of his underage preys?

Don't be unrighteous or deceived. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor catamites nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God." (1 Cor. 6:9-10)

30 Years Of Leaving Every Child Behind. Why Are You Helping?

The blue line is your tax money at work for the last three decades!

The insignificant red, green and purple lines are your tax money results for one entire generation!!

public school rankings

So you think that it's OK to send your kids to public school because you can't afford private school, or you don't feel competent to teach, or you're "fortunate" enough to be in a public school that is "faith-friendly"

How then can you account for these disastrous results?

Can't you see how you're contributing to the waste?

Watch "American Education - Do You Know What You Are Paying For?" The Webcast

Here is a tremendous webcast sponsored last night (Oct 14, 2009) by the American Family Association regarding public school.

It attracted over 100,000 viewers online plus a radio audience of 130 stations.

If you want to know where you and your kids are at regarding American education, then listen up! You won't be sorry you did.

Reform School For 6 Year-Old, Who Needs Homeschooling For Salvation

A 6 year-old Cub Scout is getting shipped off as a delinquent to Reform School because he dared bring his camping gear — a little Swiss knife, mini spoon and all — to public school to show off to his friends and eat lunch with.

It fell off his backpack and then...

What misguided fellow student gave the alert? What idiotic teacher turned him in? What asenine administrator "administered justice" by applying "the zero tolerance law" that condemns this "hardened criminal", Zachary Christie, to 45 days suspension from his first grade class and then internment at public school's equivalent to a prison's solitary confinement unit?

Is the kid that dangerous?

Of course not!

But the bureaucrats are that compulsive in the name of "child safety" and other such nonsense! Driven by fear, they act like senseless machines.

It's no wonder that Zachary's mother has chosen to homeschool him while she garners support from her community to keep the State's claws from taking her son out for some real concentrated brainwashing in reform school.

The Christina School District in Delaware released a statement that read in part: "The dangers of handling weapons of any kind ...on school property are very real, and students who possess dangerous objects in school setting face severe consequences..."

Right.

How dangerous can it be? Think for a moment please. A bayonet? A machete?

Nah.

How about a butter knife?

Think I'm kiddin'?

Amber Dauge, a South Carolina high school freshman, was expelled from school for possession of a butter knife. She had taken it accidentally to school, put it in her locker and forgotten about it. A week later she opened her locker door "and the butter knife fell out. A fellow student made a wisecrack about the knife that was overheard by a teacher, who reported it to school official" and Amber got the Riot Act read to her.

Are you sure, dear parent, that you cannot do better than these insane government workers who only too readily have the power to ruin your children's lives with their lack of even common sense?

Hypocritical Christians Leave Their Children In The Hands Of Public School Perversion

California parents, especially those espousing Christian beliefs yet still sending their children to government school, don't care two bits about their kids.

PROOF: They're willing to let "Harvey Milk Day" become not a formal state holiday, since Government employees won't get the day off, but a "day of significance", since public school kids will be taught to observe it.

This means that teachers will encourage school exercises to recall Milk's sodomite, paedophiliac lifestyle and also his destructive contributions to the State, namely how he stood in the 1970's for the destruction of the family.Harvey Milk DayWhat more reason to abolish public school do parents in general need? What else do they need to abandon it?

But the so-called Christians are the most disturbing of the bunch. They suppress the obvious. And they will pay.

Public School is a Church. It survives because it serves an unconstitutional State religion that levies a heavy tithe of mandatory State taxes. In California today nearly 50% of State taxes go to support this Church. There is no opting out for any taxpayer: all shall support this Church. The Legislature and its agent, the Governor, prescribe the State's orthodoxy, which is enforced by the high Bishop of the State Church, known also as the State Superintendent.

A special clergy guards the Church's orthodoxy. They're called public school teachers and administrators, certified at State-sponsored seminaries known as public universities to proselytize the State religion. Church law requires this clergy daily catechize all children into the doctrines of the State. Any non-compliant child to the State religion's commandments is considered heretical and subject to ridicule or "hate crime" penalties for violating church orthodoxy and practice.

The supreme doctrine of this State religion is "Tolerance of Diversity", a sermon continually preached to ensure paradoxically a universal conformity and uniformity of belief to the Church of Public School. Because it stands antithetically against this State religion, as it does against any other false religion, Christianity will not reform but is instead called to supplant it.

Therefore, real rather than nominal Christians cannot expect their children to enter the Church of Public School to reform it from within any more than they should be expected to join a congregation of Muslims at a madrassa, Jews at a synagogue, Buddhists at a pagoda to reform them. On the contrary, in less than 12 years these Christians will lose their children to the State religion that they’ve been sent to learn, adopt and practice day to day and, in Jesus' eyes, this is a crime.

"...whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Do your children believe in Christ? Then, they're Christ's. Cause them to sin and your neck is on the line...literally!

Pull them out. Now! Be faithful, and not hypocritical.

Queering The Public School Curriculum

Part of the strategy in inculcating sexual perversion, relabeled as "Queer Theory", into public school curricula is to destabilize religious beliefs in the mind of students through course design.

For students to learn on an ongoing basis the goal that these teachers have for them, the teachers must think what the outcome should be for the class, and then figure out how to achieve those outcomes.

This remark, in fact, is exactly what one of the authors of the "Queering The Curriculum" presentation below instructs other teachers to do in her "Effective Course Design" video vignette published by the University of California, Irvine's Teaching, Learning and Technology Center.

Three principles direct what Ms. Wosick-Correa calls "Basic Course Design":

  1. Learning Objectives: What will be the takeaway for the student from the course?

  2. Course Assignments: What should students practice to prove they've met the course objectives?

  3. Assessments: How will teachers ensure the students demonstrate successful understanding and application of the lessons taught?

Now study the presentation below on converting the school curriculum into a "queer curriculum" and ask yourself how Wosick-Correa and Longstreet are practicing what they preach, starting with "queering" the religious studies curriculum, then sociology.

Now, don't deceive yourself. The pervert strategy is explicit.

In her video vignette, Wosick-Correa instructs teachers to believe that course objectives "are a combination of content knowledge, skills and values."

Therefore, in her "Queering The Curriculum" presentation she is not only after sharing with students any information central to queering the curriculum but also in having the students put this knowledge into action within the context of a new set of values, that establish for the students what is essential that they should care about.

She also provides a tactic to verify that the lesson "takes": Focus on behavior and put conditions on this behavior. In other words, give the kids an explicit direction to follow and constrain it to meet certain rules as proof of student obedience. Why? Because students who act out what is assigned to them do learn their lessons well.

Lecturing is not enough. Small group activities, role-playing, conversation, engage the student both with the material and each other, and bring the objectives and assessment into alignment. In short, they drive the point home to the heart and transform the student not only into a believer of the curriculum material but into a practitioner of it.

Isn't that ultimately the purpose of teaching?

So, are you as a parent funding the creation of practicing queers with your tuition payments to your children in public universities? How about in high school?

You Won't Support Pervert Schools, Dear Parent? Then Go To Jail.

Parents, how serious can things get for you if, to protect your kids, you decided to oppose a "gay curriculum" while also leaving your children on public school premises?

Well, how serious does prison sound to you?

Learn from David Parker's experience. He is a Massachusetts man who was charged with criminal trespassing after refusing to leave a scheduled meeting with school officials, unless they gave him the option of pulling his son out of certain classes teaching homosexuality in kindergarten.

David Parker went on trial "for asking his son's public school to provide parental notification before discussing homosexuality with the 6-year-old. The actual charge is criminal trespassing. But the real issue is whether parents or schools will control the teaching of values to children," explains Wendy McElroy, editor of ifeminists.com on this event from 2005.

"The conflict began on Jan. 17, when Parker's then-5-year-old son brought home a Diversity Bookbag from kindergarten. Included was Robert Skutch's 'Who's In a Family?' that depicts families headed by same-sex couples.

"Parker immediately e-mailed the Estabrook school principal, Joni Jay. Parker expressed his belief that gay parents did not constitute 'a spiritually healthy family'; he did not wish his son to be taught that a gay family is 'a morally equal alternative to other family constructs'.

"Parker acknowledged the equal rights of gays but objected to 'the "out of the closet" and into the kindergarten classroom mentality.'"

The village fool has a right to be heard. That's not the same as a right to be obeyed. Likewise while he has no right to keep his own children from being indoctrinated in the truth, he also has no right to dictate that the children of others be taught the foolishness he believes. The truth is the truth, and a fool won't teach it. But neither should he force others to reject it.

Public school is jammed packed with fools. They coerce. They want foolishness taught by force to other people's children, because they believe their own children should believe the same falsehood. But these fools will fight tooth and nail to keep the truth from their own kids.

Why then do they become scandalized when parents assert their right not to keep their own children from receiving the truth? And the truth is that "God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it...'"

NOTE: The command was to 1 man and 1 woman to make whoopee and multiply.

Any argument that turns (Latin: vertere) this obvious fact away from (Latin: per-) its obvious interpretation is an act of per + vertere or perversion. Those promulgating the false view are perverts by definition. As Parker demonstrated, they coerce parents right into jail, if you pressure them.

Pastor And Parents Need Stipend From Government To Keep Own Children From Getting Murdered

violence in public schools

"When I was a pastor on the West Side of Chicago I found myself in the middle of rioting public school students on more than one occasion. I've testified about this violence before the Board of Education, when [now U.S. Secretary of Education] Arne Duncan was the superintendent, on more than one occasion as well. What happened?

"Since the riots weren't caught on video, we didn't get any help from the White House or anywhere else for that matter. Community groups (and a Chicago Public Schools security team) stepped in and stepped up to provide safe passage for the students the rest of the school year.

At one time there were funded patrols made up of neighborhood folk but the funding was eventually withdrawn and so were the patrols because the neighborhood folk could not afford to be on the corners without any kind of stipend."

- Rev. Gregory Seal Livingston, Chicago-based minister and activist

...the funding was eventually withdrawn, says this preacher. And that's why neighbors could no longer afford to stand outside their homes at their own neighborhood street corner to watch after their own children and their neighbor's children to protect them from attacks by kids from other neighborhoods.

In October 2009 Maureen Downey reported that the New York Times said that "About 70 students have been murdered since the start of 2007 school term, mostly in their neighborhoods on the way to or from school." That's murdered with an "M". She adds that "feuding gangs now share the same school or cross 'enemy territory' to get to school, increasing opportunities for confrontations."

Now, you tell me. If parents and neighbors won't even stand on patrol at their own street corners to protect their kids. What makes you think they would do it inside a government-run public school?

More importantly, if a preacher says that without a State handout these parents and neighbors can't even protect their own street from becoming a murder alley for their own kids, why would laity or unbelievers even think of protecting anyone who is already under the cover of funding at a State-funded public school?

But can you see how both the church and the home have capitulated to the State? The schools are now death traps. The kids get killed on their way to school. Parents and neighbors do nothing, "cuz the State won't pay me to do my job." Then the kids get killed inside the school, "cuz the State's already paying someone else to do my job there." Then the kids get killed on their way back from school, "cuz the State still ain't paying me to do my job."

Kids they didn't kill in vitro these parents are now letting others kill ex vitro, because the State is doing the parents' job for them.

Religion In Public School Is Nothing To Worry About...For Secular Statists

For all the fear and safeguarding that secular statists practice in trying to avoid religion in public school, by trying to permit religious liberty without endorsing religion (note: if you permit something, doesn't that mean that you stand above that which you permit and, if you permit God in school, which is what religion in public school is all about, doesn't that mean that you stand above God in school?), statists still argue that young students are leaving their religion. So what's there to fear?

In February 2009 more than 2,000 Christian ministers attended the 9th annual National Pastors' Convention in San Diego, California. It is an event sponsored by one of the largest Bible publishers in the world, Zondervan and InterVarsity Press. According to Dr. Peter Jones, director at truthXchange, the conference was characterized by:

  1. An undermining of Scripture with the Bible being a "human product...not the product of divine fiat"
  2. The absence of Christ and a Focus on Social Justice
  3. The de-personalization of God through the emphasis on mysticism and "spiritual disciplines" — a concept widespread in impersonal pagan spirituality

Again, with a modern Church led by such people and results as those spoken of in this video, what are these statists worrying about when it comes to religion in public school?

Religion in Public School

Preachers, School Boards And Fascism: Another Perspective On America's Public School System

During the days of 20th-Century Fascism...public vs private school

"Sir Norman Angell very accurately described human existence in a totalitarian state when he wrote:

'From the day that a child is born in Nazi Germany or Russia, and to a lesser degree in Italy, it is brought under the influence of the State's doctrine; every teacher teaches it through the years of childhood and adolescence. In every conscript, whether military or industrial, the process is continued; every book suggests the prevailing orthodoxy; every paper shouts it; every cinema gives it visual suggestion.'

"That is precisely the situation in all countries with a well-established democracy, where social forces jealously guard the 'common denominator.' There is no doubt that the great pride of the democracies, compulsory education, and to a lesser degree, conscription, is a prime factor in this process of forming the minds of citizens into a uniform pattern."

- Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn

Now read what a modern conservative candidate, a preacher, running for school board in Pasco County, Florida, has to say in confusing public schooling for education:

"Education has always been a focal point of American culture. The first schools of the colonial era, the compulsory education of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, and the formation of the Ivy League colleges in the 17th and 18th Centuries boast early American commitment to quality education. The organization and advancement of public schools by Horace Mann in the late 1800s and the efforts by educational innovators like John Hughes, Catherine Beecher, Booker T. Washington, John Dewey, Linda Thompson, and Jose Gutiérrez have all played a part in the educational system that we experience today.

"The school board serves a vital function in Pasco County by ensuring that every child has access to a quality education that provides training and tools for a productive lifetime of learning. I believe that all children should be viewed as being equally important and valuable. That American spirit that offers everyone an equal opportunity should be fostered and encouraged in our schools."

Now, how can it be that Americans who routinely every 4th of July make a claim to liberty from the tyranny of the State can with the same breath speak about compulsory education as being a boast to a "commitment to quality education" also from that same period in their history when, on the contrary, compulsory education was and is clearly a tool of the State that, not unlike military conscription, forces every subject to become part of a uniform, common denominator that destroys individual identity and, thus, the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness?

How far has America fallen from its early colonial understanding of freedom! But what else can you expect? Even preachers, having been educated by the State-run public school system, don't know any different.

School Violence? Blame It On Dead Beat Fathers. And Who Else?

public school violence

Kids involved in school violence talk about being "disrespected". What's the central issue? It's fathers. They've abandoned their children.

The children attempt to fill that void with a gang. The gang turns on the adults in rebellion against adult rule. We end up with neighborhood and public school riots.

"The central issue here is absolutely the breakdown of the family. These young people have lost connection to their elders, to their parents -- to their fathers -- to every significant adult in their community, and so they're making new rules.

They're rules that we don't like and rules that we don't understand. But these are their rules. And so until positive, strong adults get back properly into the lives of these children, we're going to see a lot more of what we're seeing. This is only the beginning."

- Phillip Jackson, Child Advocate, Black Star Project

Young people lose connection to adults and, without their guidance, the children establish childish rules that, when violated, prompt the entire gang foolishly to defend them even to death, because the gang rules in lieu of missing fathers in the life of each misguided child.

Fathers, where are you? But is it only the fathers?

According to Chicago Public Radio's Linda Lutton, "Mob fights like the one that killed 16 year-old Derrion Albert are a common occurrence outside many of the city’s general high schools.

"...Chicago teachers, students and youth advocates say there’s only one thing that separates [the Fenger High student brawl ] from others:

'On the West Side and on the south Side, there were other mob fights that same day,' says Phillip Jackson, founder of the Black Star Project. 'The reason that we’re talking about Fenger is because a young boy was killed. Not because it was so unique. And not because it was the only place where this was happening. It’s only because this one young man was killed.

"Kids call it 'mobbin’...and it’s happening at elementary schools, too,' Jackson says."

A Chicago teacher describes such a brawl:

"'I watched from the second floor of Harper High School as a 200-student riot broiled across the playground. Bats, fists, clubs, the neighbors, were all involved. It was my second day of student teaching. Being naïve I read all the local papers the next day. Nothing. Not one word.

"I saw blood, scores of police, arrests, and one injured teacher from the melee. But I guess it wasn't news.'"

Worse than a brawler is someone who justifies a brawler and calls evil good. The teenage brawlers destroy. To deny their personal responsibility for this destruction strikes at the moral foundations of society, debasing it toward pagan barbarism.

They are responsible as much as their fathers. Both must pay according to their individual error.

And both are products of the same public school education.

Parents Flunk At Parenting, So Kids Flunk At School, Survey Says

With the end of the first month of public schooling for 2009 comes this startling discovery by public opinion research and media consulting firm Wenzel Strategies, that half of adults surveyed between Sept. 23 - 26 said that "they believe the public schools are dabbling in topics in the classroom in which they have no business." Less than one-third said that public schools are teaching approprite subjects, though this opinion is shared only by 1 of 3 minorities polled.

"The most alarming result of these polling questions, taken as a group, is that the two most glaring problems identified by respondents stem at least in part from a single factor — the unwillingness of parents to involve themselves in the educational lives of their own children and the school system that has custody of them for most of the school day.

"Activist parents can certainly motivate their children to apply themselves in and outside the classroom, and collectively they can force curriculum change on their local district. Realistically, the trend is headed firmly in the other direction."

- Fritz Wenzel, Pollster

The Difference Between Educated and Uneducated People Is Not Stupidity. It's Public School.

"In the first place God made idiots; that was for practice; then he made school boards.

"Many public-school children seem to know only two dates — 1492 and 4th of July; and as a rule they don't know what happened on either occasion.

"Everything has its limit — iron ore cannot be educated into gold."

- Mark Twain

Now watch the product of an American public school education...so-called.

Prison Riots, Prison Lockdowns, Right? So Why A Need For 'School Lockdowns' Now?

Lockdown dry-runs are now a regular part of students' lives, reports Emily Gurnon with Pioneer Press.

"It used to be a 'lockdown' referred only to prisons.

"But when Wilson Gillespie hears the word, he thinks of his own elementary school.

"'A lockdown is if somebody suspicious comes up to our building, we pretend that we are not there,' said Wilson, 9, a fourth-grader at Horace Mann School in St. Paul. 'So we shut all the blinds, and we lock all the doors. And we sit somewhere where we cannot be seen if you look through any part of the door or the window.'

"'The lockdown drills, now mandated statewide, are scary,' Wilson said.

"'Because sometimes they don't announce that they're doing one,' Wilson said. 'They just do it out of the blue, so we don't know if it could be real or not.'

"As school officials and police respond to incidents of threats, shootings and other violence, the concept of campus lockdowns has become as familiar to students as blue book exams and tater-tot casserole.

"'Since Columbine, there's been growing awareness of the need to do something about this,' said state Sen. John Marty, DFL-Roseville, who sponsored the 2006 bill to mandate five annual lockdown drills in schools. 'It was not something we thought about in the past.'

"St. Paul College was locked down for four hours Wednesday after a student reported that she saw an armed man in an elevator who looked upset. Police believed her. Up to 3,000 students at the technical school were forced to stay in their classrooms, and then on campus, while officers searched for a suspect."

This week a family in Chicago mourns the death of 16 year-old Derrion Albert, an honor roll student at Christian Fenger Academy High School, who was struck down on his way home in a 5-minute after-school melee that he had apparently nothing to do with.

After receiving a blow to the head with a 2x4 that sent him to the ground, Derrion was stomped, kicked and beaten to death by school mates in the presence of witnesses.

Relatives released an eye-witness video hoping to identify the murderers. Three hoodlums are charged.

Such violent outbursts have made their presence known during school hours too, as evidenced by the student riot that broke out between rivals Carver and Valley High Schools in Alabama.

Eleven juveniles were charged with inciting a riot, assault, disorderly conduct, mischief, and failure to disperse.

Is it any wonder that the word 'lockdown' applies now to public schools and not only prisons?

Keep your children safe. Keep them out of public school and its insidious culture of death.

There are alternatives.

Use them!

$10,000 A Year For A Paedophile Experience Approved By The School Safety Czar

According to the Hoover Institute, at the turn of this century the average, annual public expense in the U.S. was $6,189 per child to feed each student a steady diet of statist mush from Kindergarten to 12th grade at government indoctrination centers known as public schools. The figure ranged from as low as $3,969 per year in Utah to as high as $9,643 in New Jersey.

Bump that up by no less than $1,300 for a newly Obama-proposed year-round, open late hours and weekends conscription arrangement (see post below) for public schools, and you have what taxpayers will be expected to hand over to bureaucrats per kid every year to allow the State machinery to convert them into loyal little statists.

The State takes interest in its own incremental expansion, extorting the needed resources from parents and compelling their adherence to all rules required to advance its own agenda above God and family. It watches for its future and, allegedly, our children's safety.

Enter the new Safe School Czar, Kevin Jennings, appointed in June 2009 as head of the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools, an office set up by George W. Bush in 2002. What does school safety look like to this bureaucrat?

According to the Washington Times, "A teacher was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an 'older man.' At the very least, statutory rape occurred." The law required the teacher to report the abuse. Instead, says the Times, though the teacher "had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship." Who is that former teacher?

It's Kevin Jennings.

Per an audiotape recording, continues the Times, "In 2000, Mr. Jennings gave a talk to the Iowa chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, an advocacy group that promotes homosexuality in schools. On the tape, Mr. Jennings recollected that he told the student to make sure 'to use a condom' when he was with the older man. That he actively encouraged the relationship is reinforced by Mr. Jennings' own description in his 1994 book, 'One Teacher in 10.' In that account, the teacher boasts how he allayed the student's concerns about the relationship to such a degree that the 15-year-old 'left my office with a smile on his face that I would see every time I saw him on the campus for the next two years, until he graduated.'"

Safety Czar?

Since when is paedophilia safe for children? So this is what over $10,000 per year per student can pay for? How is this any different than fleshmongering?

Obama: The Challenges Of A New Century Demand More Time In The Classroom

According to centralists Arne Duncan and Barak Obama, Education Secretary and President respectively, government schools in the United States are to stay open late, let children in on weekends and cut summer vacation, because children in other nations already spend more of their lives in government schools than Americans.

But more is less.

That is, more time in public school produces less education just like more time in prison produces less upright character, because both systems are rooted in the same principle — coercion.

Education Secretary Duncan envisions government schools as the heart of community rather than the family hearth or the local congregation of believers. Her vision for community is as wholesome as expecting nurturing from a local IRS office. So in the attempt at forcing children to render more time to the State, these statists are likewise attempting to supplant with government officials the time that the child should spend with family and neighbors. Where will the child's loyalty lie after a few years?

What passes for modern education at public schools is a slow process of psychological manipulations that usurp parental authority to modify the character of the child, by building overly simplified images of reality or myths in the mind for exploitation by the State at a future time through conditioned reflex. That's State education.

We'd do well to remember how much our State policies now have in common with the Angka or Khmer Rouge's social engineering policies of the 1970's which, though agrarian in its emphasis due to the people it was attempting to control, was no less totalitarian than statist parties in industrialized countries like Germany, Italy and Russia earlier in the 20th-Century.

Of crucial importance were the children who it taught to believe that parents were tainted with beliefs contrary to the State. Over a few years the children were separated from their families and brainwashed to believe statist myths and stereotypes. Eventually they were desensitized and given power by the State to torture and execute subversives at the time of revolution.

See for yourself in this exceptional clip from the film "The Killing Fields", where photojournalist, genocide survivor and author of "Children of Cambodia's Killing Fields" Pran Dith explains to journalist Sydney Schanberg what the overreaching State does to the children of a land prone to delivering them for the slaughter.

- A dead God
- Year Zero, the end of forefathers and history
- Fear of family and relatives as enemies of the State
- Worship of youth and inexperience as purveyors of the future
- Love and trust for the State as the new God and family of the people

Result: Death

No, Mr. Obama! The challenge of the new century demands our children spend less time in the hands of the State.

Listen And Recognize The Despotic Nature Of Mass Schooling

Do you believe that you have a right to an education? public school religionDo you think that this has been the advantage of the elite, because they've grown up rubbing elbows with fellow school mates since early childhood?

Do you think this is a privilege the working class deserves to receive?

Put all this middle class altruism behind.

Why should force of compulsion be used to urge others into involuntary servitude during their most impressionable years through a vast system of incarceration called the public school?

If education is a life-long process of learning and elementary subjects such as reading, writing and arithmetic can be learned at home by uniquely and wonderfully knit individuals, why then should they be coerced to fit into a State-designed mold?

Why warp them? For these public school cocoons that stimulate children's dependence and irresponsibility don't improve the individual like work or a trade would.

What's this fixation with perpetual schooling and a desire to be sheltered from the world for years and years? Is that what you support when you uphold "the right to a public school education"?

"Abolish compulsory attendance laws and give children their head, and we will return to a nation of people far more productive, interested, creative and happy."

-Murray Rothbard

Click here to listen and learn, in the words of Murray Rothbard, about the scheme to coerce the mass of the population into a mold desired by the Establishment through compulsory public education.

Learn how civil government and the institutional church in the West impressed in the last 500 years the need for compulsory education, because religion in public school is unavoidable.

As Rothbard explains, "a modern admirer of [protestant reformer Martin Luther] and compulsory education was to remark that the permanent and positive value of Luther's pronouncement of 1524 lies in the hallowed associations which it established for Protestant Germany between the national religion and the educational duties of the individual and the State.

"Thus, doubtless was created that healthy public opinion which rendered the principle of compulsory school attendance easier of acceptance in Prussia at a much earlier date than in England.

"The other great Protestant founder John Calvin was no less zealous in promoting mass public schooling and for similar reasons. It is therefore not surprising that the earliest compulsory schooling in America was established by the Calvinist Puritans in Massachusetts Bay."

How to Quit School and Get a Real Life and Education

A brief dialogue on compulsory, State-funded, so-called education by a handful of heavy-hitters. Let's pay some heed.

"To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical."

- Thomas Jefferson

"Ideas are more dangerous than guns. We don’t allow our enemies to have guns. Why should we allow them to have ideas?"

- Joseph Stalin

"The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother's care, shall be in state institutions at state expense."

- Karl Marx

"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, and are the sole and supreme judges of the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may appoint teachers in every State, county and parish and pay them out of their public treasury;

"they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may assume the provision of the poor; they may undertake the regulation of all roads other than post-roads; in short, every thing, from the highest object of state legislation down to the most minute object of police, would be thrown under the power of Congress.

"Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America."

- James Madison

"Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted."

- Lenin

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

"These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.

"Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

- Almighty God

Multimedia Mastery Masks Millennials' Messy Mindset

"Millennials are the current generation of students. They were born between 1980 and 2000 into a world of CDs, cable television, Microsoft, personal computers, and they have grown up with email and computers that fit in their backpacks. Over 60% of all teens have posted a profile to a social networking website, and over half have posted a picture of themselves to the web.

"The Millennial generation comes to the classroom with different technological experiences, a vast background in using the Internet, and expectations of achievement. They grew up in an environment filled with television, video games, computers, and sophisticated multimedia experiences.

"This background has created a preference for holistic processing and nonlinear modes of instruction in which students would rather see the entire picture, and then learn details, concepts, and procedures.

"This multimedia background also has implications for reading versus seeing.

"Average students retain 10% of what they read, but 20% to 30% of what they see. Millennial students also do much of their reading on a computer screen, which is quite different from books. Links stand out as important and draw readers away from the topic at hand. Students read bits and pieces of information as they come across them, without reading for context.

"This bite-sized reading leads students to avoid lengthy prose, and, in fact, they may ignore lengthy text instructions.

"Finally, the professional literature indicates that Millennial students trust their peers and prefer to work with them in the learning process. Students may prefer approaching a peer to a librarian and may distrust authority figures like librarians and teachers."

Millenials in Education, Graduate Project, University of North Carolina-Greensboro

They may be technology savvy. But what kind of character do Millennials have?

Now you know the problem. Check out the cause.

According to researcher George Barna the majority of churchgoers in America are not Christians. He refers to the group of professing Christians who do not believe that their hope for eternal life is based on a confession of sin and in grace received through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection as "notional Christians". "Six out of ten 20-somethings who were involved in a church during their teen years are already gone," says Barna.

The abolition of statist public school is intimately connected with the reformation of today's Christian church.

How The State Has Deliberately Stupified Your Children For Its Own Gain

"I had access to all of the most important documents for the restructuring of not only American education but Global education.

Charlotte T. Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education and author of "The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America"

In a 2001 interview with Geoff Metcalf, Ms. Iserbyt is quoted as saying, "...[E]verything is focused on the good of the state now. It is the state that is important — not the individual's upward mobility, the individual's future life. That's the way education used to be. You asked me earlier when the change took place.

"It really took place in 1965 under Lyndon Johnson. And that followed the agreements that Eisenhower signed with the Soviet Union in 1958. I feel they very strongly influenced our agenda in education.

"In 1965, [the statists] couldn't get American educators to implement this agenda that the Carnegie Corporation wanted. Also, an incredible psychologist — Brock Chisholm — at the United Nations recommended getting rid of the conscience to the World Health Organization. And he recommended doing that through the schools by training the teachers to be little psychiatrists.

"None of this was accepted by any American educator until 1965. I don't think even at that time they really accepted it but it did pass. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act was a major, major shift. It moved our marvelous system of education, which up until 1960 was the best in the world, from academics — what you know in your head — to a performance-based system which we're screaming about: outcome-based education, mastery learning, and Skinner, who said "I can make a pigeon a high achiever by reinforcing it on a proper schedule."

"I think your readers can understand the difference between knowledge based in your head and performance based. Performance is how you perform on the job — that is not the role of the public school system or any education system that I can see.

"That changed in '65. From that time on, all these incredibly horrible values-destroying programs were developed: values clarification, survival games, critical thinking. Geoff, I have a manual published in 1967 that is three inches thick of values-destroying programs. And people say, 'Why Columbine?'

"There's a very interesting appendix in my book about a Hawaii Master Plan in 1968. A pilot project for the whole country that was carried out in Hawaii and federally funded and it included just about everything that is taking place right now. But there was a recommendation in there to use these psychiatric drugs on our children. This has been planned for a long time. They don't want independent little active monsters running around in the classroom.

"...[I]f you can't homeschool, try to find a private school."

We Can't Preach. But We Can Teach...Arsenic

"...It is possible that all religions offer a slice of the Truth. But whether it's the slice that matters is the question.

"You can make a meal. Someone else can make a meal. I can make a meal. All of us can make a meal. And 5 of the 6 meals could have a little bit of arsenic in them. Now, there are many things that we might enjoy in that meal. But when we hit the arsenic, we're dead.

"So saying 'Gee, there's good things in all religions...' doesn't really help us to the basic question. The real issue is when it comes down to the most critical issues: the issue of God and man, and salvation, and what reunites us with God. What say you about those things? That seems to me the critical thing.

"What matters about religion is not the similarities. You can look at similarities all day long. What matters is the differences.

"It's kind of like saying arsenic and aspirin are basically the same because they come in tablet form. But it's the differences that matter. And I think the same thing is true here."

Prof. Greg Koukl, Stand To Reason

All teaching, like all cooking, is done from some particular angle and aims toward a particular end. All perspectives interpret the world differently, slicing it up this way or that way. Like it or not, teaching is a religious act.

Teaching, like putting your car in gear, is also an activity. It's never neutral.

So now look at the religious act (teaching) and the angle given (Humanist) taking place in public school and ask yourself how much arsenic are your kids eating there today?

Watch this. Find out. Pull 'em out.

Mark September 2009 As The Month When The State Takes Ownership Of Your New Born

The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote this week on the "Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009," H.R. 3221. The bill aims to create a new source of federal funding for early education programs called the "early learning challenge fund", to impart early education to children from birth to age 5.

It will allow government officials to make parenting decisions for children involved in these programs.

The states may use the funds to create compulsory early education programs, since the bill does not require that the programs be voluntary. There is an economic incentive for states to make attendance mandatory for early education programs, which builds pressure on families to enroll their babies and pre-schoolers to begin receiving instruction from the State as early as when they've arrived fresh from the womb.

The House Committee on Education and Labor approved the bill on July 21, 2009, by a vote of 30-17.

H.R. 3221 is also an attempt at amending the Higher Education Act of 1965 that relates to student loans, which will impact the way college students will receive financial aid, since it will eliminate all access to student loans from private lenders and establish the U.S. Department of Education as granter of all student loans, giving enormous control to the central State to direct higher education.

Oppose it!

Public School Indoctrination And Recruitment Centers For The State

The point here is not Obama or race. For all we care, it could have been Bush and everyone white.

The point here is that the young men in this video are public school students trained by a public school teacher to look up to the State for their future well-being. Is this what public schools should teach?

Wrong question.

The question should be "Does it stand to reason that a State-chartered, State-funded, State-run school would look up toward the State that keeps it alive with the whole purpose of pleasing it as deemed appropriate and necessary by those who depend on it?"

Of course it does!

And that's what we see here in action.

No one can serve two lords. Dont' think that the State will not attempt to overreach and seize your children, if you let it.

It's main tool of indoctrination is the public school system.

But it will use other agencies to recruit them for its purposes...

...once it's managed to control their minds through the government schools system.

"Give me a child until he is 7 and I will give you the man." -- Jesuit motto

The modern State keeps them until age 18.

Whose are they by then?

Cesspool Children Make For A Cesspool Nation...

Violence in Public School"I lived the Nazi nightmare, and, as the old saying goes, 'A man with an experience is never at the mercy of a man with an argument.'

"Everything I write is based on my personal experience in Nazi Germany. There is nothing theoretical about my description of what happens when a nation throws God out of government and society, and Christians become religious bystanders.

"It took me a long time to understand and define the nature of National Socialism. And, unfortunately, their philosophy continues to flourish under different labels remaining a menace to America and free human society.

"The most painful part of defining National Socialism was to recognize my own moral responsibility for the Nazi disaster and their crimes against humanity. It boiled down to accepting the truth that 'as I am, so is my nation,' and realizing that if every German was like me, it was no wonder that the nation became a cesspool of gangsters. This realization is as valid today for any person in any nation as it was then, and it is true for America and every American now.

"What I see in America today is people painting their cabins while the ship goes down. Today in America we are witnessing a repeat performance of the tragedy of 1933 when an entire nation let itself be led like a lamb to the Socialist slaughterhouse. This time, the end of freedom is inevitable unless America rises to her mission and destiny.

"I don't want to see a repetition. The role of God in human society is the decisive issue for this generation. My writing is part of my life of restitution for the crimes of a godless government, of the evil of which I was a part.

"Every day brings this nation closer to a Nazi-style totalitarian abyss."

Hilmar von Campe, former Hitler Youth

Book Burning...American Style

Public School TextbooksIf you watch the following expose, you will long for the days when school children were taught to stop believing what books said, by burning those which the State did not approve of. It was simpler then.

Back then you could tell plainly the evil in the totalitarian mindset that asserted that certain beliefs were State-approved and others were anathema to the State.

Today, however, our devotion to pluralism has blinded us to the new form that fascist mind control has taken.

A small cartel of textbook makers, influenced by powerful political pressure groups and fed by a system of government schools managed by career bureaucrats, has taken book burning to a new level.

Take a look at this video series and then go look into your children's textbooks. Expose them!

Better yet. Avoid all that headache. Just pull the kids out from this mess and save them. Go get them some "living books" and watch their minds blossom rather than wither and burn up like a dry sheet of paper in a Nazi bonfire.

Operation 'Abolish Public School' in California

Summer’s ended. No doubt something is rotten in the state of California.

It’s coming from Californian public schools, because at the State Fair this September plenty of people stopped, gaped and reacted for 4 days to the "Abolish Public School" booth raised at the Free Speech Zone.

The booth was designed to shock and awe with its bold colors and statements. Not only did it not go unnoticed, it provoked a wide range of responses.

Just look at this!

It should be no surprise that among the various reactions, there were a few people who approached the table to engage in conversation and others to vent.

Critics came in all sizes, ages and colors. Even religion made no difference.

Booth managers said that opinions range from a Christian homeschooler taking offense to the proposition that public school should be abolished, to two lesbians agreeing to the contrary.

This topic cut across the spectrum. Some people were confused. Others were outraged. Yet one thought seemed common among many:

"How can you propose this?"

The question wasn't why are you proposing this. It was how can you do this, as in how can you take away something and leave us instead with nothing.

Most intriguing was the fact that the people manning the booth were primarily young students.

Some were homeschoolers. Various others were immigrants from the former Soviet Union who took a strong stance in comparing America's public school system with their schooling under Communist regimes.

It seemed that resistance to the abolition of public school is rooted in a typical resistance to change.

Even though those who set up the booth were either giving evidence of fine learning, though they've never attended a public school, or were highly experienced in the methods of statism and government control of children via compulsory education from state schools in Russia and Romania and see the same process in progress in America, few people seemed to have been able to discern beyond an immediate need:

"...But if you take my public school away, what do you replace it with?"

This question trumped any assertion about things being fine with our government schools, because they aren't fine.

The stench arising from the public school yard is that of foolishness, which has blinded a people and made it unable to think out of the box.

It cannot see what should be obvious: not only there are workable alternatives to public school, but they've been already in practice effectively by many for years. Further, when adopted by a small majority, they will tumble the same state-run apparatus that has kept entire generations blinded to the Truth and rooted in foolishness.

Christian Parents Mount Rescue Effort To Yank Children From Government Schools

"We feel that the story of the Exodus in the Bible is one of the great stories of deliverance for both Christians and Jews down through the history of Man. And Pharaoh was a harsh task master. We use that analogy to compare to State-run public schools today, and we feel that children are in a form of bondage there.

"They're not being given academic, rigorous classes. In many cases they're falling behind academically, and certainly these schools are hurting children morally and spiritually.

"We are losing the culture and we're losing the political battles as well, because so many Christians, and others as well, [are] being educated in these Pagan public schools. And Christians are out there fighting against the symptoms. They're voting and they're protesting. But they won't take care of their own children."

E. Ray Moore, Th.M.Chaplain (Lt. Col) USAR Ret.

Using military imagery, retired chaplain Moore makes an appeal to Christian parents to rescue their children this year from Statist bondage, by pulling them out of public schools where they're taught to renege their home-based Christian vows to be lost to Paganism and Humanist thinking.

Listen and take action!

Leave Your Kids In Public School And Make Them Stupid...In America!

Money won't fix it. New curricula won't fix it. New teachers won't fix it. Nothing will fix it, because the root is rotten. So the fruit will be rotten too...and that fruit is your children!

Lay the ax to the root. Pull your kids out from these bureaucrat-infested hell holes!

All this is old news. The parental disease is fear. The cure is courage and a well proportioned sense of indignation and activist righteousness.

American Statism Encroaches Your Family

"The United States has a tradition of resisting the encroachment of the State into the province of the family. In a 1923 Supreme Court case, Meyer v. Nebraska, the U. S. Supreme Court held that the Nebraska legislature had 'attempted materially to interfere with...the power of parents to control the education of their own.'

"When, in 1922, the state of Oregon compelled all children to attend public school, the Supreme Court struck down the law in the case of Pierce v. Society of Sisters (1925). Observing that parents and guardians have the right 'to direct the upbringing and education of children under their control,' the Court noted that 'the child is not the mere creature of the State; those who nurture him and direct his destiny have the right, coupled with the high duty, to recognize and prepare him for additional obligations.'

"A well-known recent case regarding grandparent visitation rights, Troxel v. Granville (2000), resulted in the Court opinion that the Constitution 'protects the fundamental right of parents to make decisions concerning the care, custody, and control of their children.'

"But with Washington's respect for the Constitution diminishing each year, parents cannot count on continued court protection from politicians who want to extend their reach into homes and families. Already, State social services agencies are notorious for invading homes and unnecessarily taking children from parents.

"For many years, truancy laws have allowed the State to stake out substantial claims to a child's upbringing that extend down to age five or six. Once the State has legal authority to require certain types of schooling for five- or six-year-olds, what principle stands in the way of extending that authority to two- or three-year-olds?

"Politicians have attempted just this: in 2003, Rep. Kucinich (D-OH) introduced H.R. 3007, the Universal Pre-Kindergarten Act, which would help states bring children into schools at younger ages. The bill died, but politicians will doubtless try this sort of thing again.

"Statist attempts to micromanage childhood date back to the ancient Greeks, at least. The Spartans brought seven-year-old boys into barracks and entrusted their subsequent education and training to the government. At least the Spartans had the decency to wait until age seven. Plato would have started even earlier.

"The extreme statism outlined in his Republic proposed to collectivize all aspects of child-rearing and orient education toward the aggrandizement of the State.

"Plato proposed that 'wives of our guardians are to be common, and their children are to be common, and no parent is to know his own child, nor any child his parent.... The proper officers will take the offspring of the good parents to the pen or fold, and there they will deposit them with certain nurses who dwell in a separate quarter.'

"Two 19th century American socialists, Robert Owen and Frances Wright, sought compulsory education for all children over the age of two."

Timothy Terrell, Director, Center for Biblical Law and Economics

Why The Abolition Of Compulsory Education Is Not To Be Achieved Gradually

"The main lesson which the true liberal must learn from the success of the socialists is that it was their courage to be Utopian which gained them the support of the intellectuals and thereby an influence on public opinion which is daily making possible what only recently seemed utterly remote.

"Those who have concerned themselves exclusively with what seemed practicable in the existing state of opinion have constantly found that even this has rapidly become politically impossible as the result of changes in a public opinion which they have done nothing to guide.

"Unless we can make the philosophic foundations of a free society once more a living intellectual issue, and its implementation a task which challenges the ingenuity and imagination of our liveliest minds, the prospects of freedom are indeed dark."

F.A. Hayek, Nobel LaureateAbolish Compulsory Education

"If we look at the socialist program advanced 60, or even 30 years ago, it will be evident that measures considered dangerously socialistic a generation or two ago are now considered an indispensable part of the 'mainstream' of the American heritage.

"In this way, the day-to-day compromises of supposedly 'practical' politics get pulled inexorably in the collectivist direction.

"There is no reason why the libertarian cannot accomplish the same result. In fact, one of the reasons that the conservative opposition to collectivism has been so weak is that conservatism, by its very nature, offers not a consistent political philosophy but only a 'practical' defense of the existing status quo, enshrined as embodiments of the American 'tradition.'

"Yet, as statism grows and accretes, it becomes, by definition, increasingly entrenched and therefore 'traditional'; conservatism can then find no intellectual weapons to accomplish its overthrow."

"...to really pursue the goal of liberty, the libertarian must desire it attained by the most effective and speediest means available."

"...Such an 'abolitionist' perspective does not mean, again, that the libertarian has an unrealistic assessment of how rapidly his goal will, in fact, be achieved. Thus, the libertarian abolitionist of slavery, William Lloyd Garrison, was not being 'unrealistic' when in the 1830s he first raised the glorious standard of immediate emancipation of the slaves.

"His goal was the morally proper one, and his strategic realism came in the fact that he did not expect his goal to be quickly reached. We have seen in chapter 1 that Garrison himself distinguished: 'Urge immediate abolition as earnestly as we may, it will, alas! be gradual abolition in the end. We have never said that slavery would be overthrown by a single blow; that it ought to be, we shall always contend.'"

Murray Rothbard, Dean, Mises Institute Austrian School of Economics

Compulsory Education Is A Means Of Citizen Control

Abolish Compulsory Education "There are decent public schools and terrible ones, so there is no use generalizing. Nor is there a need to trot out data on test scores. Let me just deal with economics. All studies have shown that average cost per pupil for public schools is twice that of private schools (Here is a sample).

"This runs contrary to intuition, since people think of public schools as free and private schools as expensive. But once you consider the source of funding (tax dollars vs. market tuition or donation), the private alternative is much cheaper. In fact, the public schools cost as much as the most expensive and elite private schools in the country. The difference is that the cost of public schooling is spread out over the entire population, whereas the private school cost is borne only by the families with students who attend them.

"In short, if we could abolish public schools and compulsory schooling laws, and replace it all with market-provided education, we would have better schools at half the price, and be freer too. We would also be a more just society, with only the customers of education bearing the costs.

"What's not to like? Well, there is the problem of the transition. There are obvious and grave political difficulties. We might say that public education enjoys a political advantage here due to network effects. A significant number of 'subscriptions,' etc. have been piled up in the status quo, and it is very difficult to change those."

But is it impossible or wrong?

Teacher of The Year Says Your Children Are Lab Rats for Statist Experiments

"First, though, we must wake up to what our schools really are: laboratories of experimentation on young minds, drill centers for the habits and attitudes that corporate society demands.

"Mandatory education serves children only incidentally; its real purpose is to turn them into servants. Don't let your own have their childhoods extended, not even for a day.

"If David Farragut could take command of a captured British warship as a pre-teen, if Thomas Edison could publish a broadsheet at the age of twelve, if Ben Franklin could apprentice himself to a printer at the same age (then put himself through a course of study that would choke a Yale senior today), there's no telling what your own kids could do.

"After a long life, and thirty years in the public school trenches, I've concluded that genius is as common as dirt. We suppress our genius only because we haven't yet figured out how to manage a population of educated men and women. The solution, I think, is simple and glorious. Let them manage themselves."

Obama, THE President, to Make Historic Speech to ALL Students in America

From the U.S. Department of Education's web site, in its attempt to continue "promoting educational excellence for all Americans" and, thus, live up to its own statist tagline:

"At 12:00 p.m., Eastern Time (ET), September 8, 2009, President Barack Obama will deliver a national address to the students of America. (Please note that this is a change from the originally scheduled time.) During this special address, the president will speak directly to the nation's children and youth about persisting and succeeding in school. The president will challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning.

"The U.S. Department of Education invites students of all ages, teachers, and administrators to participate in this historic moment by watching the president deliver the address, which will be broadcast live on the White House Web site and on C-SPAN at 12:00 p.m., ET. We also encourage educators to use this moment to help students get focused and inspired to begin the new academic year. The Department of Education offers educators a menu of classroom activities — created by its teachers-in-residence, the Teaching Ambassador Fellows — to help engage students in the address and stimulate classroom discussions about the importance of education.

"To further encourage student engagement, the U.S. Department of Education is launching the 'I Am What I Learn' video contest. On September 8, we will invite students to respond to the president's challenge by creating videos, up to two minutes in length, describing the steps they will take to improve their education and the role education will play in fulfilling their dreams."

Education Secretary Arne Duncan wrote last week to government school principals: "This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation's school children about persisting and succeeding in school. We encourage you to use this historic moment to help your students get focused and begin the school year strong. I encourage you, your teachers, and students to join me in watching the President deliver this address."

Under compulsory education, your children must learn directly what the supreme leader in the land — not their father or God — wants them to do about their work, their knowledge, their futures. Then he wants tribute, like essays and videos from the best of them.

If your child is an Obama youth grades 7 - 12, here was the assignment to write about:

  1. Why does President Obama want to speak with us today?
  2. How will he inspire us? How will he challenge us?
  3. What might he say?
  4. Do you remember any other historic moments when the president spoke to the nation?
  5. What was the impact?

For pre-Kinder to 6th grade, here is the assignment.

Now what are you willing to do about it?

California State Fair: Let's Get Rid Of Compulsory Education!

At the California State Fair in Sacramento this week a group of concerned parents sets up to test their right of free speech, by lifting banners against the State-controlled schools.

Their objective is to share literature aimed at triggering parental concern over State-imposed religion in public schools and open up a dialog on the conflict between public vs private schools, and homeschooling vs public schools.

There will be more to report as the fair moves into the long weekend and the group engages with a wide audience at the fair grounds.
